These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MedFair (the "Service"), operated by MedFair ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MedFair, uploading a document, or purchasing a Full Dispute Letter, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Description of Service
MedFair uses artificial intelligence to analyze user-uploaded medical bills, insurance denial letters (EOBs), and medical debt / collection notices, and to generate a plain-English summary, a list of potential findings, a suggested action plan, and, for paid users, a draft dispute letter.
3. Educational Purpose Only — Not Legal Representation
MedFair is a self-help educational tool, not a law firm, and does not provide legal representation. The AI-generated summaries, findings, action plans, and dispute letters are provided for informational and educational purposes only.
Using MedFair does not create an attorney-client relationship, a patient-advocate relationship, or any other professional relationship between you and MedFair. Our AI-generated dispute letters are self-help drafting tools intended to help you advocate for yourself — they are not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney, medical billing advocate, or financial counselor. We strongly encourage you to consult a qualified professional before relying on any output for a matter involving significant financial or legal consequences.
MedFair does not guarantee any specific outcome, including but not limited to bill reduction, claim approval on appeal, or debt discharge. Insurance companies, healthcare providers, and debt collectors make independent decisions that MedFair cannot control.
4. Payment & Refund Policy
The core document analysis, preview summary, and action plan are provided free of charge. The Full Dispute Letter is available for a one-time payment of $9.99 per document. This is a single, one-time charge per generated letter — MedFair does not enroll you in a subscription or recurring billing for this feature.
Refunds
- Because the Full Dispute Letter is delivered instantly as a digital download, the $9.99 fee is non-refundable once the letter has been successfully generated and delivered to you.
- If you experience a technical error and are charged without receiving your letter, contact support@medfair.us within 7 days of your purchase for a full refund.
- Duplicate or accidental charges will be refunded in full upon verification — just email us with your payment confirmation.
5. Your Responsibilities
You agree to only upload documents that belong to you or that you have the legal right to submit on behalf of a family member or dependent. You are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated letter for accuracy before sending it to any provider, insurer, or collector — you are the sender of record, not MedFair.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MedFair and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on any AI-generated content. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which MedFair operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
